Optimized settings can only be used with the specific symbol and timeframe for which they were intended—both in the Strategy Tester and in the live market. The settings determine the range size, which is unique to each symbol and timeframe.

IMPORTANT: Use your own risk settings. Risk should be configured such that all individual risk parameters combine to form the total risk. For example, if every risk parameter is set to 0.25%, the total risk per setup will be 1.25% of the account balance.

In the default settings, position 2 (Pos2) utilizes a smaller profit target—which, given an appropriately set range size, offers a high probability of success—so it is recommended to assign it a slightly higher risk level compared to the others. Conversely, a larger profit target decreases the probability of the price being reached. Following this principle, you can also structure your risk so that the risk level decreases at each successive stage where the profit target is higher.

In the settings files, the labels BO and SC stand for Breakouts and Scalps, respectively. Dynamic Basis incorporates two trading styles. The Breakout strategy is designed to avoid overtrading; consequently, there may sometimes be long intervals between breakout setups if the price does not produce a pullback. The Scalp strategy is designed to execute trades precisely when no pullbacks occur for the breakout setups.

It is recommended to use settings that include Only BO.

Recommended settings:

For GBPUSD: GBPUSD 1-hour Only BO Medium Risk or GBPUSD 1h-hour Both BO & SC Medium Risk

For USDJPY: USDJPY 1-hour Only BO Low Risk or USDJPY 1-hour Both BO & SC Low Risk

By choosing only the breakout option, the total number of trades is significantly lower, but the win rate is high. Including both breakouts and scalping lowers the overall win rate, but increases the level of trading activity. Breakout trades involve slower swings, while scalping involves faster moves.
